Christina is a financial Analyst at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and has been working with The Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation since 2009, as a fundraiser and volunteer. Christina and her team, the RumpRunners, participate annually in the Colon Cancer Challenge in Memory of her Mother, who passed away in 2009 after a battle with Colon Cancer. Her team has repeatedly been within the top 10 fundraisers overall for the event, and Christina was the #1 individual fundraiser in 2010.
Christina's motivation comes from the comfort and support her mother received during her illness because of their involvement with the Challenge. Her primary objective is to create awareness of the disease at an early age and prevent colon cancer before it ever becomes an issue. Through the use of social media and her personal and professional networks, Christina is continuously working on new and innovative ways to create events for younger generations to become involved in Colon Cancer awareness and prevention.
Christina received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park and currently lives in New York City.
